I am a photography enthusiast based out of Pinehurst, North Carolina. I believe that photographs should not only capture the image of a person, but their essence. With my photography, I strive to convey the emotions and relationships that families are made of. The innocence, joy and optimism that radiate from children is magical and something that I will never tire of photographing.
I recently graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (summa cum laude, baby!). In addition to being the mother of two fantastic kids, ages 8 and 5, I am a behavioral therapist for children with autism. We moved to the Sandhills in January 2008 and count ourselves blessed to be a part of this community. There are beautiful spots all around that make me happy just to be alive!
I have always been artistic – drawing, painting, etc. , but I became interested in photography after my son was born. I quickly became disillusioned with studio photography and with the birth of my daughter, I became a “do-it-yourself-er”. I’m fascinated by color, texture, architectural elements, and the human psyche, so all those things seem to make their way into my photographs. At the urging of friends and relatives, I began offering my photography to the public and it’s been so much fun!
I would love to capture your precious memories with my camera. Please take a look at my work and then give me a call or email to schedule an appointment!
